Read the Blitz uses headline clicks to help identify stories readers find useful. You can read the news without an account.
For click measurement, your browser stores a random identifier that expires after 24 hours. We record the headline clicked, the time, and whether it appeared in Trending or Latest. These records are not linked to your email, saved teams, or Yahoo account.
Our click service uses a temporary, coded version of your network address to limit repeated or automated clicks. It does not store your raw address in click records. Click records are set to expire after 48 hours; automatic deletion may take additional time. Aggregate totals may be retained to calculate trends. Hosting providers may process connection information to operate the service.
We respect your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. If browser storage is unavailable, click measurement is skipped. Links open the original publisher, whose privacy policy applies there.
Accounts store your email and selected players so you can filter the news. Team screenshots are processed to suggest players and are not retained as image files. Yahoo credentials, when connected, are encrypted on the server; you can disconnect Yahoo in My team.
